On-chain verification

Verify Image

Drop or select an image to verify it against the on-chain registry. Three cryptographic fingerprints are computed locally in your browser — Media Hash, Metadata Hash, and ISIX — then compared with the entries stored on the blockchain. Your image never leaves your device.

How it works

  • Media hash

    SHA-256 over decoded pixels — identical pipeline to the ColiCam app (WASM), so files match what was registered.

  • Metadata hash

    Canonical hash over selected EXIF / capture metadata, so context is bound to the proof.

  • ISIX

    Perceptual fingerprint for similarity — finds the same capture after re-encode or light edits when the raw media hash differs.

  • Registry check

    Fingerprints are compared against the on-chain ColiCam registry via Colibri — verified reads, no trusted RPC intermediary.
